Red Havas has made two senior promotions to bolster its UK-wide operation, and is strengthening its northern offer after a record-breaking year for the UK business.

Richard Clarke, previously Executive Director, London has been promoted to Managing Director, Red Havas London. Meanwhile Nuala O’Neill, previously client services director, has been promoted to Red Havas North Deputy Managing Director.

In his role, Clarke will continue to work with flagship clients, including American Express and Jaguar Land Rover, but will primarily take on the day-to-day responsibility and running of the London office as well as drive the agency’s ambitious growth targets, reporting into Rachael Sansom, UK CEO.

O’Neill will continue to work with blue-chip clients, including TalkTalk and Pringles, as well as work with and alongside Nigel Hughes, Red Havas North Managing Director, as they continue to strengthen Red Havas’s northern offer including new offers and acquisitions.

In addition to the senior promotions, in a move that is part of its UK-wide strategy, and following a recording-breaking year of growth in the region, the fast-growing global communications agency is strengthening its northern presence. Red Havas Manchester will rebrand as Red Havas North, a reenergised proposition that recognises the expertise, talent, and growth opportunities across the North of the country.Red Havas names London MD and rebrands Manchester arm
